HST 106 - World History III HST 106 - World History III Credits - 4 Lecture - 4 This world history survey utilizes a global approach to exploring massive cultural, political, and economic shifts in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas from approximately 1700 C.E. to the present. Emphasis will be placed on understanding worldview, cultural priorities, relationships to others and the environment, and the implications these shifts have on our 21st-century world. Recommended preparation: WR 060 or higher Term(s) pring NOTE: HST104, HST105, and HST106 do not have to be taken in sequence. Course Designation: Discipline Studies - A transferable course that meets distribution (group) requirements in the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (A.A.O.T.) degree and the Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. Note: Courses meeting distribution requirements may always be used as electives in the transfer degrees. Meets Cultural Literacy requirement. Meets Social Science requirement.
