FN 225 - Nutrition FN 225 - Nutrition Credits - 4 Lecture - 4 Nutrition is the study of the nutrients in food and how the body uses them throughout the life cycle. Food sources, ways in which the body breaks down and uses food, functions, and recommendations for the six nutrients will be covered. Skills will be developed in evaluation of nutrition information, assessment of dietary intake, recognition of timely nutrition issues, and increasing awareness between the relationship of the food we eat and chronic disease.
