EMT 152 - Emergency Medical Technician Basic Part B EMT 152 - Emergency Medical Technician Basic Part B Credits - 6 Lecture - 5 Lecture/Lab - 1 Continues instruction at the level of Emergency Medical Technician. Includes all skills necessary for the individual to provide emergency medical care as outlined by the scope of practice established by the Oregon Medical Board. Serves as the second in a series of courses making up a national and state EMS training program. Students will have two years from the completion of this course to pass their state certification test, or this course will need to be retaken. Failure of this course will require retaking both EMT151 and EMT152. Must meet standards as set by the Oregon State EMS Office for licensure which includes health, immunizations, and criminal record check. Term(s) inter, Spring Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
