EMT 151 - Emergency Medical Technician Basic Part A EMT 151 - Emergency Medical Technician Basic Part A Credits - 6 Lecture - 5 Lecture/Lab - 1 Provides instruction at the level of Emergency Medical Technician, a vital link in the chain of the health care system. Includes all the skills necessary for the individual to provide emergency medical care as outlined by the scope of practice established by the Oregon Medical Board. Serves as the first of a two-part course in a series of courses making up a national and state EMS training program.
