ECE 280 - Cooperative Work Experience: Early Childhood Education ECE 280 - Cooperative Work Experience: Early Childhood Education Credits - 1-8 The purpose of cooperative work experience is to provide students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with young children in early childhood settings. Students will understand how the Pyramid Model supports positive relationships, social-emotional development, and inclusive learning environments. Students participating in cooperative work experience must successfully complete a criminal history background check in coordination with the ECE facility. Cooperative work experience may include one-to-one or small group instructional assisting and may take place across a variety of early childhood education settings and professional opportunities. Term(s) all, Winter, Spring Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
