DRF 113 - Introduction to 3D CAD DRF 113 - Introduction to 3D CAD Credits - 3 Lecture/Lab - 3 This course introduces students to 3D Computer Aided drafting. Students will be introduced to the SolidWorks interface, tools, and basic modeling techniques. Students will be provided the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of SolidWorks in this course which covers the creation of parts, assemblies, and drawings. Students will be provided with information sufficient to prepare for certification as a Certified SolidWorks Associate. Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
