This course must be completed prior to or along with EMS 1213 Paramedic I. A final grade of “C”, or higher, is required in each core course. Students must successfully complete the Emergency Medical Technician class (EMS 2009) and pass the National Registry of Emergency Technicians (NREMT). Students are required to provide a copy of their EMT card (State or NREMT) before enrolling in the paramedic core classes.
