Paramedic Technician
Blackhawk's Paramedic Technician is a flexible program where students learn to manage emergency patient care and transportation as well as how to function as part of a comprehensive emergency management system response team under medical oversight. The paramedic is an allied health professional whose focus is to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system (EMS). The paramedic provides patient assessments and advanced cardiac life support and is a key link from the scene to the emergency healthcare system.
