HIT255 — Principles of Supervision in HIT

3 credits This course is an introduction to principles of organization and supervision in a health information department. This course focuses on specific human resource management functions, including communication, motivation, team building, budgeting, and staff scheduling; productivity reporting, policy and procedure development; ergonomics; equipment selection; and marketing health information department services.
