ENG131 — Applied Writing I
3 credits This course is a study of various types of written documents required in scientific, technical, and other specialized fields. Emphasis is placed on the production of such documents, including research, documentation, graphic elements, the abstract, appropriate diction, grammar, punctuation, and audience. Students will demonstrate the ability to produce effective reports, letters, memoranda, and similar documents. Note: Course may be used in Area V for AS/AA degrees
