4 CR Lab exploring avenues for overcoming the difficulties of advanced SMA welding, including confined space applications, and out of position welding. Will apply practices on standard unlimited structural groove weld test plates. Completion Of or Concurrent Enrollment In: WLD 213 , WLD 232 and WLD 254 , all with a C- or higher; or concurrent enrollment in WLD 213 , WLD 232 and WLD 254 ; or Instructor permission.
