VETT124 — Specialty Medicine
3 CR This is an advanced course in veterinary medicine. Small Animal Medicine I and II are In this course, the student will explore the requirements to become a Veterinary Technician Specialist and some of the subdisciplines of veterinary medicine that have not been explored in previous medicine courses. Upon completion of this course, the student will be knowledgeable of the following veterinary medicine specialties: 1) Ophthalmology; 2) Research Medicine; 3) Oncology; 4) Endoscopy 5) Pediatrics 6) Geriatric & Hospice care.
