VETT113 — Immunology & Pharmacology I
3 CR Upon completion of this module, the Veterinary Technician student will be able to calculate the correct amount of medication in the prescribed form and administer it by the prescribed route as directed by a veterinarian. The Veterinary Technician student shall also be able to differentiate between normal and abnormal responses to medications and communicate necessary information to clients in order to maximize safety and compliance for effective treatment. Finally, the Veterinary Technician student should be proficient at inventory control procedures, especially as applied to controlled substances.
