VETT109 — Clinical Laboratory Sciences

4 CR Upon completion of this module, the Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician student will be able to properly handle and submit appropriate samples for diagnostic analysis to ensure maximum accuracy of results. Also, give the characteristics of the laboratory equipment; the student will perform diagnostic tests and determine proper maintenance and quality control procedures necessary to ensure accurate results. Skills will be developed in performing basic hematology, urinalysis and cytology.
