VETT107 — Small Animal Parasitology

4 CR Upon completion of this module, the Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician student will be able to: 1) Identify & describe the life cycle of ecto- and endo- parasites; 2) Understand the importance of parasites in veterinary and zoonotic disease; 3) Understand the importance of, and demonstrate proper diagnostic fecal techniques; 4) Identify parasite ova, adults and non-parasite artifacts; 5) Describe prevention of parasitic diseases.

Prerequisites: VET120, VETT101, VETT102, VETT103, VETT104, VETT201
