3 CR Given the characteristics of the patient, the Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician student will understand appropriate and inappropriate dietary components for various life stages to promote optimal health. Also, the Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician student will be able to explain nutritional recommendations to clients and reinforce owner compliance.
