OPM411 — Facility Layout and Materials Handling
5 CR This course covers the design and optimal layout of industrial facilities, materials handling systems, and warehousing for the most efficient flow of raw materials, work-in-process, and completed product. Students, working in groups, will be required to develop a written proposal for a newly designed or modified facility including a financial justification for the project, and carry out a verbal presentation of their results.
