HT132 — Medical Records Management
5 CR This course instructs students in the application of medical records management. Medical records management includes, but is not limited to: electronic medical records, health care policy & procedure records, patient documentation & forms, Washington state and federal record retention timelines and appropriate clinical documentation improvement strategies. This course also includes an overview of compliance, guidelines and medical record auditing in a clinical practice.
