HT120 — Introduction to Medical Insurance Billing
5 CR This course focuses on insurance billing procedures; billing requirements in relation to insurance companies, clinics and hospitals; and insurance billing compliance standards and mandates. Students will learn skills that will enable them to create, process and correct insurance claims. Other subjects include billing office topics related to medical insurance, accounts receivable, and collection techniques.
