COMP235 — Materials Testing

5 CR This course is designed to expand on knowledge of material science and composite fabrication. Students will learn to perform analysis with methods including: Ultra-Sound Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Tensile Testing, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), ASTM standards, and metrology. Students will also gain experience with 6-Sigma statistical analysis, lean, and quality assurance methodology.

Prerequisites: COMP121, ENGT233
