CET110 — Construction and Highway Surveys
5 CR Calculations for horizontal and vertical alignments will be emphasized. Determining cut and fill values for establishing final elevations for construction projects, as well as marking of survey stakes to communicate location and elevation information to construction workers will be covered. Students will learn stakeout procedures for a variety of construction projects. In addition, the students will develop techniques to the student learn to use horizontal and vertical curves in the field and office to join tangent lines.
