HIST236 — History of Australia
5 CR Examines the history of Australia from the first human inhabitants 40,000 years ago through the long and difficult process to become the modern continent nation of Australia. Attention is given to the various groups who have migrated to Australia, the exploration and colonization of the continent, the gold rushes and bushrangers, the creation of a federation, and the emergence of the modern Australian nation during the 20th century.
