5 CR This course examines individuals’ reproductive rights or access to safe birth control and abortion and the social, political, and economic factors that impact the reproductive experiences, as well as bodily autonomy and self-determination, of marginalized people. The course utilizes a reproductive justice framework to think about and study historical and contemporary discourses, institutional barriers, and possibilities surrounding one’s reproductive decisions.
