NURS1201 — Medical-Surgical I Theory

This course is designed as a theory course in the second semester of the practical nursing program. Students will be focused on the adult patient in the medical-surgical care environment. Theory topics include the acute care environment, surgery, in-patient/acute care, and the differing disease processes commonly seen in the adult population. Concurrent: This course is designed to be taken concurrently with NURS 1202 and NURS 1203.
