CHEM1100 — General Chemistry I
The first semester of a two semester general chemistry course designed to meet the needs of science students. The course covers units of measurement, the structure of atoms, nomenclature, stoichiometric relationships and calculations, bonding, and states of matter. Prior to taking CHEM 1120 , be sure to enroll in MATH 1100 concurrently with CHEM-110. Prerequisite(s): One year of high school chemistry or “C” or better in CHEM 0900 or “C” or better in CHEM 1020 and CHEM 1040 , & “C” or better in MATH 1050 or appropriate score on the mathematics placement exam
Prerequisites: CHEM0900, CHEM1020, CHEM1040, MATH1050
