VTEC 1041 - Animal Breeds and Behavior VTEC 1041 - Animal Breeds and Behavior , Lecture 1 , Lab 0 Covers the recognition of common breeds of domestic animal species encountered in veterinary practice and the descriptive terminology used to correctly record breed, color and markings in a patient record. Emphasizes recognition of and response to normal and abnormal behavior of common domestic animals as needed for physical exam, restraint and handling. Students will learn to explain common behavior training and behavior modification techniques to animal owners. Prerequisites: Admission to the Veterinary Technology Program Corequisites: None
