SONO 2502 - Ultrasound OB/GYN III SONO 2502 - Ultrasound OB/GYN III , Lecture 1 , Lab 3 Concludes a three-semester Obstetrics and Gynecology series. The second of two semesters devoted to obstetrics, this course provides an in-depth discussion of the various fetal chromosomal and congenital anomalies detectable by Sonography. Discussions include maternal disease, high-risk pregnancy, amniotic fluid evaluation, placental and fetal abnormalities, sonographic anatomy of these structures, and their appearance on the sonogram. Prerequisites: Permission of the Program Manager for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography AAS, Abdomen-OB/GYN concentration Corequisites: None
