Emphasizes writing JAVA applications and applets, embedding applets into web pages, creating graphical user interfaces, object-oriented programming, event handling, writing animations with audio and images, and writing network programs. Prepares students to develop real-world projects using JAVA. Prerequisites: CSCI 1943 with grade of “C” or better OR placement by department Corequisites: None
