ENGR 296 — Work-based Learning Experience
Students transitioning from an educational environment to the workplace need to make the connection between the knowledge and skills obtained throughout the program of study and how it applies to professional work in the field. This course provides students with an opportunity to align curriculum and instruction with tasks required in a given career field. The outcomes in this course can be achieved through one of the two methods below: 1) Sustained interactions with industry or community professionals in real workplace settings, to the extent practicable, or 2) Simulated environments at an educational institution.
