This course will examine the criteria for normal and abnormal behavior by exploring the dynamics of their occurrence as well as their etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. Topics covered include anxiety and stress disorders, mood disorders, sexual dysfunctions and deviations, somatoforms, and schizophrenia. Fulfills: Social and Behavioral Sciences Prerequisite: PSYC 1000 General Psychology with a grade of C or better
