This course provides an introduction to basic accident investigation pro- cedures and describes accident analysis techniques. The focus of the course is to assist students in gaining the basic skills necessary to con - duct an effective accident investigation in a workplace. Topics include the primary reasons for conducting an accident investigation, employer responsibilities related to workplace accident investigations, and the six step accident investigation procedure.
