This course focuses on the care of the adult client experiencing common health alterations with predictable outcomes. Emphasis is placed on the care of clients with alterations in the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, endocrine system, musculoskeletal system, hematological/lym- phatic system, sensory system and integument. The clinical portion of the course gives students the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe client care in selected settings. Prerequisite: NURS 1206 Fundamentals of Nursing with a grade of C or better Admission to Nursing Program
