NURS 1207 — Mental Health I 2 Credit Hours
This course explores basic concepts and trends in mental health nursing. Therapeutic modalities and client behavior management are discussed. Emphasis is placed on using the nursing process and meeting the basic human needs of the client with a mental health disorder. Prerequisite: Admission to Nursing Program
