MUSI 1015 — Fundamentals of Music 3 Credit Hours
This course will provide fundamental knowledge of music theory includ- ing notation, scales, interval and triad construction, form, meter, and basic harmony. Musical skills will be developed through reading, lec - ture- discussions, in-class activities and exercises on your own. It is rec- ommended for music majors but a background in music is not necessary to take the course. Fulfills: Arts and Humanities
