LIFE 1422 — Pathophysiology 4 Credit Hours

This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of pathophysiology. Students will examine the phenomena that produce alterations in human physiologic function and the resulting human response. Upon completion of the course, students will understand pathophysiological changes, including how pathological processes are manifested, progress in the body, and the primary and secondary effects of these changes. Prerequisite: (LIFE 1407 Anatomy & Physiology I with a grade of C or better AND LIFE 1409 Anatomy & Physiology II with a grade of C or better) or LIFE 1408 Anatomy & Physiology with a grade of C or better or MDAS 1672 Medical Terminology with a grade of C or better LITERATURE
