HZMT 6036 — Intro to Environmental Compl 1.5 Credit Hours
This course provides a comprehensive overview of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other environmental regulations and guide- lines, and interpreting standards promulgated in the Code of Federal Regulations. The course includes information on the history of EPA, specific environmental regulations regarding surface water, pollution pre- vention, hazardous waste, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) of 1986.
