FDHR 1200 — HR Information Systems 3 Credit Hours
This course explores the evolution of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and the role of human resource management in infor - mation technology. Students will learn how to advise and support federal agencies where HRIS decisions have already been made; assess informa- tion system needs within the HR context; identify HRIS applications to address those needs; and develop strategies for implementation. Students will be introduced to industry standard systems.
