EHSM 7940 — Shipping, Handling and Storage of Hazardous
Substances (DOT – Air) This intensive course covers procedures for safe handling, stor - ing and preparing hazardous substances for shipment by air as required by the International Civil Aviation Organization. Students will receive up to date, hands-on instruction in requirements for domestic and international shipments, classi - fications according to the dangerous goods table, and packing and labeling specifications. Students will also learn the critical competencies required for properly responding to hazardous substance emergencies.
