EDUC 1134 — Education Field Experience 2 Credit Hours
This course is designed to give students experience in a classroom setting. Students will examine and reflect upon the roles and responsibilities of effective teachers, characteristics of the teaching/learning environment, and look at an overview of teaching as a career choice. Prerequisite: EDUC 1128 Foundations of Modern Educ with a grade of C or better or concurrent enrollment in EDUC 1128 Foundations of Modern Educ or consent of instructor. Student must present a negative TB test and criminal background check no later than the second class meeting. The background check and TB test are at the expense of the student.
