CRPT 1003 — Carpentry I 4 Credit Hours
This course is an introduction to the carpentry trade and construction industry. The students will learn the formal construction training struc- ture, the expectations of a professional carpenter, safety, and how to read construction drawings and specifications. Students will also learn how to use the measuring and leveling tools and the math needed for site and building layout. Students will then apply these skills to layout a jobsite.
