CRIM 1651 — Introduction to Corrections 3 Credit Hours
This course is an introduction to the study of the relationship between criminal justice and the correctional system from verdict to release from supervision. The course focuses on the structure, philosophical and historical nature of penal institutions, roles of sentencing, institutional practices and policies and post-conviction remedies.
