COMM 1217 — Nonverbal Communication 3 Credit Hours
This course is designed to help students become more aware of nonverbal communication as a vital factor in human communication by studying the research, practice, and principles underlying nonverbal behaviors. Topics include kinesics, proxemics, paralinguistics, haptics, and olfactics. Prerequisite: COMM 1200 Interpersonal Communication with a grade of D or better or COMM 1230 Public Speaking with a grade of D or better
