CHLD 1570 — Science Activities for Child 1 Credit Hours
This course is an introduction to inquiry-based science learning in early childhood settings. Students will learn the importance of play-based inquiry in the development of early science skills and knowledge. Student will learn to design and assess age-appropriate science learning expe - riences for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers using state and national standards and best practice guidelines. This course meets specific out - comes outlined in the Kansas Core Competencies for Early Care and Education Professionals.
