CHLD 1565 — Preschool Language & Literacy 3 Credit Hours
This course is designed to teach students how to recognize and imple - ment appropriate environmental strategies that support early literacy development and appropriate early experiences with books and writ - ing. Emphasis is placed on speaking and listening, as well as reading and writing readiness. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to select, plan, implement, and evaluate appropriate early liter - acy experiences.
