CHLD 1503 — Play Based Learning 3 Credit Hours
This course is designed to give students insight into play and play-based learning. Topics addressed in this course include an introduction of foun- dational concepts and terminology of the study of play including the - ories and their respective theorists; an exploration of the role of play in human development; and an introduction to the Guided Play Framework and how it is used to extend thinking and learning and assess develop- ment and outcomes.
