CHEM 1816 — Organic Chemistry II 5 Credit Hours
This course is the second half of a two-semester course in organic chemis- try and provides students with the knowledge of the physical and chem- ical properties of carbon compounds with emphasis on the mechanisms of organic reactions, the nomenclature of the compounds and methods of organic synthesis. This course is designed for those students who need a good understanding of organic chemistry. Fulfills: Laboratory Course, Pure Science Prerequisite: CHEM 1814 Organic Chemistry I with a grade of C or better
