ARTS 1223 — Introduction to Ceramics 1 Credit Hours
Introduction to ceramics will familiarize the student with how a ceramic studio functions. Emphasis will be placed on learning about safety in the studio, ceramic materials and ceramic techniques. This introductory course includes how to process clay from its wet stage to its final firing in a kiln. The class will include demonstrations, lectures and hands on projects.
