The development, uses, advantages/ disadvantages, design, components, operating principles, diesel fuels, combustion process, and exhaust emissions will be covered within this course. The student will perform pre -operational services, initial inspections, identifying engine components, and generally touch on all systems in regards to diesel engines. Students will gain hands -on experience of tools and test equipment used in the repair and servicing of diesel engines.
