Using classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical experiences, this course focuses on the application of the nursing process to meet the needs of patients/clients experiencing psychiatric disorders or maladaptive behaviors. Emphasis is on integration of therapeutic communication and mental health assessment in the healthcare environment. Pharmacological principles are integrated. Program Fee: $756.25
