RNSGÂ 1910 — Â Foundations of Nursing

Using classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical experiences, this foundation course prepares students for subsequent nursing courses, professional nursing practice, and the healthcare environment. The nursing process is introduced as a framework to organize and deliver patient-centered care. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on developing critical thinking, caring, competence, and fundamental nursing skills.
